Housing: Known for beautiful beaches and nature preserves, Hutchinson Island is actually two barrier islands spanning Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River counties. The barrier island in Ft. Pierce is separated by the Ft. Pierce Inlet:

North Hutchinson Island (North Beach): Features single family homes in established waterfront neighborhoods such as Coral Cove and Queen’s Cove, while oceanfront condominiums line the coast.  Parks include the Ft. Pierce Inlet State Park providing ocean, inlet and cove access, Jack Island State Preserve, two large boat ramps, and miles of pristine beaches.

South Hutchinson Island (South Beach): Features condominium communities like Harbour Isle with marina and river/inlet views; and Ocean Village featuring condominium villages, clubhouse, 9-hole golf course, restaurant, and other amenities.  Single family homes are located near the popular Jaycee Park and Kimberly Bergalis Beach park. Vintage bungalows are located near the Jetty Park.  Moving south on Hutchinson Island you will find many public beach access points before arriving at St. Lucie County’s southern tip in Jensen Beach with its oceanfront condominiums and select single-family homes.
